In recent years, the U.S. newspaper industry has been struggling with falling advertising revenue, fewer readers and increasing debt. Some lawmakers have suggested that the government should provide a bailout to keep the industry afloat. Paul Janensch, associate professor of journalism, doesn't think that's a good idea.
